They are prepared so many ways. This is one way I prepare the fish, plus a salsa that I love. So simple, healthy, and delicious. Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stirmypot.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/100_32331.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stirmypot.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/100_32331-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Fish Tacos with Tomato &amp; Avocado Salsa\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1161\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stirmypot.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/100_32331-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stirmypot.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/100_32331-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tomato &#038; Avocado Salsa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 large tomato, diced<br \/>\n1\/4 C. diced red onion<br \/>\n1\/2 jalapeno, minced<br \/>\n2-3 Tbsp. lime juice<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. kosher salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper<br \/>\n1\/2 avocado, diced<br \/>\n1\/4 C. chopped fresh cilantro (or parsley)<br \/>\nPinch of cayenne, if desired<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fish Tacos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\/4 C. flour<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. pepper<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. garlic powder<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. celery salt<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. paprika<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\ndash of hot sauce<br \/>\n1\/2 C. panko bread crumbs<br \/>\n2 medium tilapia fillets<br \/>\n2 tsp. canola oil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent:.25in;\">To prepare salsa, combine tomato, onion, jalapeno, lime juice to taste, kosher salt and pepper in medium bowl. Stir in avocado and cilantro. Add cayenne if you are using.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent:.25in;\">To prepare tacos, combine flour and spices on one plate, combine egg and hot sauce on another, and panko bread crumbs on a third. Dredge fish with the flour, then with the egg, and then the bread crumbs. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fish to the pan; cook until crispy and golden, 2 to 4 minutes per side.
